City of Arts & Sciences Tour

Visit the most modern part of Valencia

Walk around the amazing avant-garde buildings and let me tell you and show you some amazing things you will not find in your guidebook!

The City of Arts and Sciences is a unique complex devoted to scientific and cultural dissemination, all designed by Valencia´s architect Santiago Calatrava , except the Oceanogràfic. It is composed of six major elements: the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia (the opera), the Hemisfèric (an IMAX cinema and digital projections), the Umbracle (a garden gazebo and nightclub), the Science Museum Príncipe Felipe (an innovative and interactive center of science), the Agora (an exhibition space), and the Oceanogràfic (the largest aquarium in Europe with over 500 marine species).

It´s a good idea to combine this tour with a guided visit in the Opera house or Oceanogràfic.
You can also combine the tour to the City of Arts and Science with a guided visit of the Fallas museum, to get a feeling of this popular Fallas festival.

Or jump on a Segway or bike to discover parts of the Turia gardens as well.
